EQUIZEST SUN SHIELD
EquiZest Sun Shield is a daily oral antioxidant and mineral supplement designed to support skin resilience, coat health, and natural UV tolerance in horses — particularly those prone to sun sensitivity, photosensitivity, or seasonal coat stress.
It works from the inside out, supporting the horse’s natural protective systems rather than masking symptoms.

What’s Inside & Why It Matters
Zinc amino acid chelate → supports skin structure, repair, and pigmentation
Vitamin E → a powerful antioxidant protecting skin cells from oxidative damage
Natural Vitamin C & citrus flavonoids → support collagen production and immune response
Electrolytes & minerals → maintain hydration and skin barrier health
This synergistic blend helps the horse’s body cope better with sun exposure, rather than simply reacting to it.

Carol –
LOVE! So easy it just gets added to his feed daily. I did use the 30gram a day recommendation for high UV exposure and worked so well in helping restore his skin and reduce redness on his face!

I just recently tried this after not being able to get a result for my herd. After a week I did notice a reduction in redness overall, after 2 weeks the blistered skin was almost healed with now only a slight pinkness, coats are shiny and hair seems softer, after 3 weeks skin was more consistent overall with no new sun burn. I much prefer adding to feed then bothering with sunblock creams or powders. My horses seem less irritated on Sun Shield
